3-DAY ITINERARY
A relaxed three-day Daytona Beach Shores getaway.
This plan keeps the ocean at the center, includes Ponce Inlet and one classic Daytona attraction, and leaves enough empty space to feel like a vacation.

Day 1: Arrive and let the view do the work
After check-in, unpack once and walk through to the balcony. Get oriented to the ocean, shoreline, and Halifax River before adding plans. If daylight allows, take a short beach walk toward Sunglow Pier, then either make an easy dinner in the condo or visit a nearby restaurant.
Keep the first evening light. Travelers often lose the best part of arrival day by rushing into a schedule. The balcony, oceanfront pool, and sunset color over the river are enough.
Day 2: Ponce Inlet morning, beach afternoon
Begin with breakfast and drive south toward Ponce Inlet. Climb the lighthouse early if weather and official hours allow, then explore the museum grounds. Add the Marine Science Center for sea turtle rehabilitation and local marine exhibits.
Return to the condo for lunch and a slower afternoon. Swim, read, or spend time on the no-drive beach. Choose a riverfront dinner in Wilbur-by-the-Sea or Port Orange, or bring dinner back and eat on the balcony.
Day 3: Pick your Daytona
Motorsports fans can check tour availability at Daytona International Speedway. Families may prefer the Boardwalk area, a park, miniature golf, or another long beach morning. If the whole group is happiest near the water, there is no obligation to turn the final day into a checklist.
Make the itinerary yours
Weather, surf, attraction hours, race events, and individual energy should shape the order. Reserve fixed-time experiences first, then use beach and pool time as the flexible center of the trip.
